About The Founder
Meet Ángel, a friendly, seasoned software engineer and open source contributor with over 20 years of experience. Born in Venezuela 🇻🇪 and raised in an Italian community right in Caracas, Ángel's journey has taken him to Italy 🇮🇹, Argentina 🇦🇷, and he eventually chose Canada 🇨🇦 as his home, where he now puts down roots and live with his Canadian wife.
He's lived and worked in these four countries, mastering multicultural and remote work long before it was the norm.
Ángel started building software at the age of 11 (is it a coincidence that it was a binary age?), and his parents say he's been an engineer since he was a toddler.
He paid for his engineering degree by working as a junior software engineer and sysadmin while studying. Over the years, he's worked in companies of all sizes—from big names like CMD (Grupo Clarín Argentina) to startups like Bixti Argentina, where he helped lead the exit to Elo7 (now Etsy). At Bixti he served as CTO, wearing all the technical hats before the acquisition.
Always eager to learn, Ángel's passion for technology goes beyond work; it's a big part of his life and hobbies too. He's well-known in the open source world as an Arch Linux Developer and Package Maintainer (TU), and he's contributed to several Django and Python libraries.
Now based in Calgary, Alberta, Ángel continues to inspire and innovate, seamlessly blending his technical expertise with his rich experiences across Spanish, English, and Italian tech communities.

She stands out for her leadership, effective communication, and ability to drive high-impact projects.
Nico Santarán
UX/UI Designer
Nico is a talented UX/UI designer with a passion for creating beautiful, intuitive user experiences. With a background in graphic design and a deep understanding of user behavior, he crafts interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly. He is also a great team player and a quick learner. When he's not designing, he's probably watching his beloved River Plate or traveling the world.
